Hop Valley Brewing just kicked off a contest to create a name and logo for their next beer. It will be Hop Valley’s first bottled beer; a Cream Ale created to celebrate the city of Springfield’s 125th anniversary. They are looking for submissions that reference either Springfield founder Elias Briggs or famous Springfield invention, the drift boat.
Hop Valley is accepting entries through December 1st on their Facebook page. Entrants must be at least 21 years old. The contest winner will receive a five course dinner for two at the brewery, Hop Valley beer, Hop Valley clothing and a case of the beer they named.
This might be the thing that finally makes me break down and get a Facebook account. Ugh, I feel unclean just thinking about it…
