I received an e-mail from New Belgium last weeks announcing their cLips of Faith Beer and Film Tour. The brewery is currently accepting fan submitted videos and short films; the best of which will be compiled into a feature-length film and shown at each stop of their 14 city tour. In addition to an outdoor screening of the film, each stop will also feature a full tasting of the Lips of Faith series; all proceeds benefitting local bike non-profits.
Since they mention proceeds, I assume there is some cost to the event. Looking over the tour’s website (www.clipsoffaith.com), I find no mention of ticket or tasting price. There is also no list of the beers being served, just pictures of Transatlantique Kreik, La Folie, Biere de Mars and Le Fleur Misseur. What did peak my interest was the tentative list of tour stops; not the usual list of big cities you might expect.

The cutoff date for submissions is May 20th, after which the videos will be judged and the film compiled. The top three filmmakers will be rewarded with a trip to New Belgium for a private screening and beer dinner.
