If you haven’t noticed yet, I’ve been a little light on my posting lately. A big push to finish a project at work, coupled with the long-overdue death of my 8+ year old Powerbook (from which I normally write my posts) has left me needing a small vacation. Fortunately, as of yesterday, the retailer I work for is now accepting EBT cards at all of its Oregon locations; thus wrapping up the coding project I have been working on for the last several months.
So, the fridge is stocked; New Belgium Eric’s Ale, Brewdog Rip Tide and Great Divide Chocolate Oak-aged Yeti among its inhabitants, and neither my wife nor I have to be back in the office until Tuesday. Time to kick back, relax and enjoy a beer. Well, until my wife is ready to paint the spare bedroom, or the rain lets up enough that I can do some much-needed lawn/garden work, or I fire up Newegg and start over-researching laptops.
In any case, I should be back in form next week. A couple of upcoming posts I have planned are an Oregon lager round-up and an examination of the state of beer here in lil’ Eugene.
Cheers and have a great Memorial Day weekend!
