Jeff seemed to get a kick out of last year’s pumpkin, so I decided to turn it into an annual thing. I hope you enjoy…and I hope Charlie and the rest of the Double Mountain crew don’t mind the blatant filchery of their logo for my little craft project.
Now that I’ve been bitten by the homebrew bug, I am planning on brewing up a Kolsch in the near future. I just did a Google search for “brewing kolsch” and this video popped up. I have never had a Gaffel Kolsch, but after watching the video, I have to try one. If the video is any indicator, I’m expecting the beer to taste like a middle school educational film on reproduction, or possibly the exciting new world of computers.
The funny thing is, this must be fairly new; at one point there is a shot with LCD monitors. There is also a fantastic line at the 4:33 mark. “Anything that wants to go to heaven has to be purified. Things are not any different for Gaffel Kolsch.” Enjoy.
