Oregon SB 444 passed the Senate floor yesterday, with a final vote of 30-0 in favor of the homebrew bill. If passed, SB 444 will restore many long-standing homebrew activities, barred by last year’s ruling. Zwickelmania, now in its 3rd year, is a free statewide brewery open house, hosted by the Oregon Brewers Guild. The event gives visitors a chance to tour their local breweries, talk with the brewers and sample some fantastic beer, possibly straight from the Zwickel.
