Now, I [...] Just a quick post about a couple Thanksgiving beer sales that are happening in Eugene this week. Oakshire will have their tasting room open 3-6pm today (Wednesday), 1-6pm Friday and 12-4pm Saturday. During these times, all growler fills are $8.00. For the last seven years or so, my wife and I have prepared Thanksgiving dinner for some, if not all of our immediate family. This year the tribe is a little scattered, so we will be putting down the mitts and joining my parents for the holiday. And while this allows us to shirk the food detail, I will still be providing the beer [...] After all the Gratzer talk on Beervana at the beginning of the week, I decided it was time to open a bottle of the Wild Smoked Wheat I brewed back in early September. |
